This 5.5-mile trail is the perfect place to go for a winter walk. The Pike River Pathway provides access to 300 acres in the reconstructed Pike River corridor.

2.) Relax at the Hotel

After our exercise let’s check-in to the hotel. Time to relax and reconnect in the whirlpool at one of those six hotels with an indoor pool. (see all hotels nearby).

5.) Sunday Fill Up at the World-Famous O&H Danish Bakery

Sunday morning for our busy couple means a coffee and delicious bakery at O&H Danish Bakery. One cannot visit Mount Pleasant without stopping for a Kringle or Seven Sisters from O&H. Not sure what Kringle or Seven Sisters are… you will never forget after trying these Danish treats!! The Danes have the word “Hygge” (pronounced ‘hoo-ga’), which means creating a nice, warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life. At O&H Danish Bakery, you share in the good life through a taste of happiness. One slice, one gift, and one person at a time. Definitely, a breakfast to remember.

Note: Mount Pleasant lodging and eateries are taking all necessary precautions to keep you safe. They warmly welcome you to their establishments.
