1.) Explore the Pike River Pathway
Start your Saturday bundled up to stay warm as you venture onto the beautiful Pike River Pathway, an off-road 10-foot-wide asphalt recreational trail that extends north/south through the center of the Village. This 5.5-mile trail is the perfect place to go for a winter walk. Be sure to stop along the path with the kiddos and build a snowman just off the path! The Pike River Pathway provides access to 300 acres in the reconstructed Pike River corridor.

- Wendi Court and Old Spring Street (east of Airline Road)
- Timmer Lane (southern terminus)
- Oakes Road (at Mariner Drive)
- Washington Avenue (at Case High School)
- Willow Road (at Racine County Trail/SCJ Waxdale)
- Durand Avenue (east of Cottage Drive)
2.) Relax at the Hotel
After Frosty is built – complete with sticks for arms and stones for eyes – it’s time to check-in to one of Mount Pleasant’s six lovely hotels that have an indoor pool (see all hotels nearby). There aren’t too many children who don’t love to play in a pool.
3.) Indulge Your Taste Buds at Georgie Porgies
By now everyone in the family is famished!!! There are so many restaurants in Mount Pleasant, you can have your pick!! For this family winter adventure, we recommend a burger and malted milkshake at a place that can accommodate the kids, Georgie Porgies!! Whether you’re young or young at heart, you’re sure to have fun at Georgie Porgie’s Treefort restaurant. Named one of Wisconsin’s most unique dining spots, Georgie Porgie’s is always innovating to keep the menu fresh and offer a fun environment.
4.) Take the Family Bowling at the Lanes on 20
After dinner you need something to do – BOWLING!! The Lanes on 20 is open and it’s family-friendly. Stop by and bowl a few frames. Both youngsters and adults always have fun.
