Modern Faire With A touch of Historic Charm

 Architecture, Food, Museums and More

Take in a show! Whether it’s a visit to the Racine Symphony Orchestra or one of several theaters on each end of the County, Racine County has productions, shows and concerts that cater to everyone’s tastes.

Racine County has unique and vibrant communities that boast boutiques, art galleries,  museums, and international cuisine – all with a touch of historic charm.

If architecture is your passion, you’ll want to seek out the world-renowned Frank Lloyd Wright architecture of SC Johnson. Tours are also available for Wingspread, a 4,000-square-foot home, Wright’s largest and last Prairie-style home.

Racine County restaurants offer a delicious variety of options ranging from traditional to eclectic.  No visit to Racine is complete without a visit to a local bakery for a Kringle, oval-shaped Danish pastry, the official Wisconsin State Pastry that is produced predominately in Racine County.

The stunning Racine Art Museum houses the country’s largest contemporary crafts collection displayed in ever-changing exhibits. Other Racine County attractions include the Racine Heritage Museum and the Racine Theatre Guild.
