Village of Rochester

The Village of Rochester, incorporated in 1912, is located in Western Racine County. Rochester offers a unique quality of life found only in rural areas and yet is within easy commuting distance to Milwaukee, Racine, Waukesha, and Lake Geneva job markets.

Nestled between the larger communities of Burlington and Waterford, Rochester has been able to retain the unique small-town charm that mixes urban, farming, and country lifestyles.

The Fox River runs through the Village and offers recreational opportunities for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Area residents also have access to five parks that offer hiking, bicycle trails, baseball and soccer fields and plenty of room to enjoy nature. The community also includes Honey Creek Wildlife Area, a 1,023 acre of wildlife preserve.
