From workforce solutions to business development resources, Mount Pleasant is helping local businesses build a foundation for long-term success.
The Village of Mount Pleasant has launched a new Small Business Retention and Expansion Program aimed at helping local businesses access resources, share feedback, and connect with organizations that support growth. The initiative is open to businesses with 500 or fewer employees and is designed to strengthen relationships between local business owners and the Village.
The program is supported by partnerships with Racine County Economic Development Corporation (RCEDC), Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), and Racine Area Manufacturing and Commerce (RAMAC), providing businesses with access to business development tools, technical assistance, and valuable connections across the region. These resources help entrepreneurs and small business owners navigate growth opportunities, identify workforce solutions, and build a strong foundation for long-term success.
Village leaders say the initiative reflects Mount Pleasant’s commitment to creating a business-friendly environment and ensuring local companies have the resources, talent, and support needed to grow and succeed. By investing in small businesses and fostering ongoing communication, the Village is helping strengthen the economy and create new opportunities throughout Racine County.
