In Racine County, a child can attend any school in a neighboring district, or in some districts students can transfer to schools within the same district. Children can also attend charter schools, and some students may qualify for scholarship fundings to attend private schools. No matter which school you chose, a variety of extracurricular activities, athletic teams, and clubs are still available for any child.

Racine County is served by a network of nine school districts comprised of more than 60 public elementary, middle and high schools.

Racine County has an extensive network of private schooling options for students of all ages. In total, there are more than 30 private high school and elementary schools that offer a variety of nonreligious, Catholic, Lutheran, and Nondenominational education options.
